Immigrant children often resist studying their native language. In this collage/assemblage class students will be making narrative compositions, using words as one of their materials. Gluing words together and taking them apart, be it in a visual dictionary or absurd combination of words students will experience the language, like surrealists, reassembling its structure.This class should be back in the Fall.

Each kid who is planning to apply to Art School after Graduation needs a special "portfolio" to present with application and SAT scores. I teach children on a personal basis. $300 for one intensive month.
