Alexandra is the perfect teacher/coach for an artist who wants a space
to paint with as much or as little direction from the teacher as the
moment requires. Alexandra provides excellent technical guidance in
traditional painting methods but more importantly for me she is able to
help me translate my ideas, using my personal visual language, onto the
canvas. Her teaching method is rare, combining a deep understanding of

“My first experience with Alexandra was when I took her open studio art classes. I was excited to create art but I felt blocked. I remember the first canvas I worked on in Alexandra's studio, in fact I still have it. It was a transformational experience to create the piece. It was meditative and healing and everytime I see it, I feel peace. I have been in Alexandra's classes as well as working with her personally. She helped me create a beautiful oil canvas that still hangs in my dining room! Alexandra helped me realize the difference between creating art and creating artistic crafts.
